HCP 54 gets you onto the course. Next Handicap 36 focuses on what comes next: consolidating technique, turning practice into results and demonstrating a stronger level of play on the course. It is not only about lowering a number; it is about becoming a more complete golfer.
WHY HCP 36

Some clubs and courses apply maximum-handicap limits. Progressing towards HCP 36 can broaden your playing options, but the programme goes further: developing the skills required to play with greater independence, consistency and judgement.
THE PROGRAMME
Three sessions. One clear progression.
Six hours of coaching structured around your real game. Your coach adapts the work to your needs and development.
Analyse your game
Initial assessment of swing and short game. We identify priorities and build a clear improvement plan to make every minute of practice count.
Practise with purpose
Technical work and specific drills to consolidate your swing, improve contact and develop more options around the green.
Take it to the course
9 holes with your Golf Q Coach: strategy, shot selection, course management and assessment of your playing level in a real golf environment.

REAL PROGRESS
HCP 36 is achieved by demonstrating the level.
Completing the sessions does not mean automatic validation. The player must satisfactorily demonstrate the playing level, technical control, decision-making, safety, pace of play and practical knowledge required for HCP 36.
If the required level has not yet been reached, your coach will identify the areas to continue working on before a new assessment.

Players who already have HCP 54 or an equivalent playing level and want to develop their game towards HCP 36.
How long is the programme?+
The programme is structured as 3 sessions with 6 total coaching hours, including practice work and a 9-hole on-course assessment with the coach.
Is the green fee included?+
No. The coach’s time and accompaniment are included, but the player’s green fee is booked and paid directly to the club.
Does completing the programme guarantee HCP 36?+
No. HCP 36 is only validated once the player satisfactorily demonstrates the required playing level.
Can I do it with another player?+

In that case, Handicap Course 54 is the recommended starting point before taking Next Handicap 36.
