By the end of the programme, the objective is that you understand the flow of a round, can choose and execute the essential shots, apply core rules and etiquette, keep pace and make sensible decisions on the course.

Your coach’s time on the course is included. The player’s 9-hole green fee is not included and must be booked and paid directly to the golf club.

What happens after the course?
After successfully demonstrating the required playing ability, technical proficiency, course management, Rules of Golf and etiquette, Golf Q issues your Handicap Certificate with Handicap Index 54.
You may present the certificate to a golf club or federation in your home country and request the corresponding licence or handicap registration, subject to their own procedures and requirements.

Some golf clubs apply maximum-handicap limits. Next Handicap is the natural second step: a three-day improvement programme combining coaching, purposeful practice and 9-hole assessment to help you progress towards Handicap 36.
Handicap 36 is validated only after successfully meeting the required playing standard.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need previous golf experience?+
No. Handicap Course 54 is designed as the route from the fundamentals of golf to your first handicap.
Is the course always exactly five days?+
The programme is designed around five stages. Scheduling can be arranged according to coach, club and player availability while preserving the full coaching content.
Is the green fee included?+
No. Coaching and coach accompaniment on the course are included, but the player must reserve and pay the 9-hole green fee directly to the club.
Does completing the course automatically guarantee the certificate?+
The certificate is issued after the player successfully demonstrates the required playing ability, technical proficiency, course management, rules and etiquette.
Can Golf Q arrange my Spanish federation licence?+
Yes. We can manage the registration through the RFEG. The annual federation licence is paid separately by the player following the payment instructions received by email.
Will Handicap 54 let me play every golf course?+
Not necessarily. Individual clubs may set their own maximum-handicap requirements. If you need a lower handicap, Next Handicap 36 is designed as the next progression.
